Hey there folks! If you're like me, you've probably binged on season 2 of Stranger Things while stuffing Eggo waffles in your face the day it came out and loved every minute of it! I absolutely love Stranger Things both seasons have been phenomenal and I can't wait to see what's next. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's probably a combination of the 80's nostalgia, charm of the kids, and compelling sci-fi story line that kept me coming back for more with this show. I'm seriously reminded of a simpler time when I watch this show. A time when we didn't have our noses in our smart phones and we actually went outside to meet and talk to people! Then again, I could just be seeing everything through rose colored glasses, I mean, the Internet is pretty damn awesome...lol.
Anyhow, Stranger Things has exponentially grown in popularity since the release of the second season and with good reason! I think season 2 definitely topped the first season and ended on a wonderful note, but at the same time had me wanting more. As a result, a random comment on one of my videos lead me to make a tutorial on a Stranger Things inspired paracord project that has a rather not so obvious connection to the show. You may look at the blue paracord bracelet and wonder where exactly it was seen in the show? Well... I'll tell you! (mild spoilers ahead!)
As for the paracord bracelet that was yielded from this Easter egg, I think it came out really nicely as it does resemble the hair tie that Hopper wears making it a really great homage piece to the show. Of course, we had to do this "Mad Max style" with the adjustable closure, yet making another reference to the show. ;) So, I hope you all enjoyed season 2 as much as I did and I hope that you'll make a Stranger Things paracord bracelet as well! Have fun and keep on weaving!
