My name is Max. I my world is fire... and blood. We all know and love the Mad Max paracord bracelet design and it's back yet again with this Micro Mad Max idea! Mad Max: Fury Road was most definitely one of my favorite movies of 2015. The visual aesthetic was truly remarkable from dirty diesel and sand soaked environment that was bathed in the saturated hues of the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Aside from how awesome this movie was, it gave us the gift that Max Rockatansky wore a paracord bracelet. Not just a cobra knot bracelet, but one that was done in an adjustable fashion that we all know now. Also, as I understand it, Tom Hardy, who plays Max, personally wears paracord bracelets which lead me to believe that Max wearing a paracord bracelet was possibly a choice of Hardy himself... So cool! Anyhow, with this Micro Mad Max design, this is possibly the slimmest iteration of the Mad Max as we only use a single strand of 550 as the core and the adjustable closure is created using a variation of the Manny method of joining paracord.

After using the Manny Method to join the 550 strand with itself, it's just a matter of using some micro cord to tie the cobra knot weave along the strand. Also using the same knot to create the closure tab to prevent the bracelet from coming undone when you open it. I used wear very thick bracelets such as the Mad Max Bane's Cuff, but lately, I've been leaning towards slim bracelets as they are easier to wear and tend to be more comfortable to wear and this Micro Mad Max is a new favorite!

The only minor "flaw" with this micro cord Mad Max design that I find his the adjustable closure part itself. Due to the fact that uses the Manny Method to join it creates a  small melted lip near the closure that could irritate your skin. Secondly, where the paracord strand comes out of the sheathing at the closure, there is potential that the repeated opening and closing of the bracelet could cause it to fray. I haven't had any discomfort or fraying yet, but time will tell. Overall this was one of my most enjoyable and yet simple projects as of late. Hope you all enjoy!

This micro paracord bracelet looks great. I think making bracelets using microcord is a great idea and may get more people interested in paracord bracelets and the many uses of paracord. I must have spoke to a half-dozen this people that had no idea what paracord was.

Not only is your bracelet visually pleasing, it would be plenty useful if ever needed in an unfortunate situation where cordage is needed.

I tried paracording about a year ago, but just couldn't wrap by brain around it. The ones I tried to make were so incredibly horrible that I just put the the cord in a shoebox, on the top shelf, in the back of the closet. Rummaging I happened across that shoebox, decided to give it another try... Voilà, it clicked. I made a few basics and then ran across your YOUTUBE instructional videos. IMO the best ones out there. I'm not making some seriously awesome items. Thank You so so so much for taking the time to make those videos. NOW... and you've probably asked this numerous times... I'm wondering if you guys can help me with a particular knot that I've come across. I think it's a modification, but not experienced enough to really identify it. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/356910339188713139/
